Patient Consent and Data Sharing

This page explains the consent Rilova requests before processing or sharing medical information for an international healthcare enquiry.

What the patient authorises

By giving consent, the patient or authorised representative permits Rilova to collect and organise information submitted for the enquiry and to communicate with healthcare providers that the patient has agreed Rilova may approach.

Recipient confirmation

Rilova will identify or confirm the intended hospital, clinic, physician or international patient department before sharing relevant medical records. Records will not be presented as consent for treatment.

Purpose of sharing

Information is shared so a healthcare provider can review the enquiry, request missing information, communicate availability, provide a medical opinion or estimate, and advise on possible next steps. Clinical review is performed by the relevant provider, not Rilova.

Authority to submit information

A person submitting information on behalf of a patient confirms that they have the patient’s permission or another lawful authority to do so.

Withdrawal and correction

Consent may be withdrawn for future sharing by contacting info@rilovabd.com. Withdrawal does not reverse processing or disclosure already completed with valid consent. Patients may also request correction of inaccurate information.

International transfer

International healthcare coordination may require records to be transferred to a provider outside Bangladesh. The recipient may be governed by different privacy laws and organisational policies.

Clinical and emergency limitation

Consent to data processing does not authorise Rilova to diagnose, prescribe or make treatment decisions. Rilova is not an emergency service.
